Cohere targets C$7bn AI funding round as Canada pledges C$1.6bn, but what is actually secured?
Cohere has announced an initial close of a Series E financing round targeting up to C$7 billion, supported by the Canadian government, Schwarz Group and NVIDIA. The proposed funding would strengthen its sovereign AI infrastructure and enterprise software ambitions, although the amount already secured and the economics underpinning its C$35.7 billion valuation remain undisclosed.
