Blanket Mine

Caledonia Mining Corporation Plc has secured up to US$150 million in interim financing for its Bilboes gold project in Zimbabwe, completing a third element of its four-part funding strategy. The agreement strengthens construction funding options, but relatively expensive borrowing, weaker production at Blanket Mine and unfinished long-term project financing leave important questions about execution and returns.
