Bhakra-Nangal Project

India's Supreme Court has resolved a decades-long electricity-sharing dispute by directing Punjab and Haryana to supply Himachal Pradesh with approximately 11,973 million units of outstanding power over 20 years. The judgment also establishes a ₹420.77 crore capital-cost adjustment and a cashless mechanism for settling historical obligations.
