Syrah Resources Limited (ASX:SYR) has announced a development in the renewable energy landscape, commencing production of Active Anode Material (AAM) at its Vidalia facility in Louisiana, USA. This achievement positions Syrah as the first commercial-scale, vertically integrated natural graphite AAM supplier outside China, heralding a new era in the battery supply chain for North American and global markets.

The Vidalia facility, with an annual production capacity of 11.25ktpa AAM, represents the culmination of nearly seven years of relentless effort in technology development, feasibility studies, and construction.
