Sweeping Corporation of America forays into Charlotte with Major Clean

Sweeping Corporation of America (SCA), an Ohio-based power sweeping company, has acquired Major Clean, Inc. in a move to make its market entry into Charlotte, North Carolina.

The financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.

Major Clean offers sweeping services to customers across the greater Charlotte market.

Sweeping Corporation of America said that Charlotte, which is among the fastest growing markets in the US, compliments its existing facilities in Winston-Salem, North Carolina and Columbia, South Carolina.

Major Clean is the 11th transaction for Sweeping Corporation of America this year and its 29th acquisition overall. The power sweeping company has expanded its team to more than 1,500 employees in its over 50 locations following the transactions.

Recently, Sweeping Corporation of America had acquired Illinois-based Metro Commercial Sweeping.
