SunGrid Holdings, an affiliate of Hull Street Energy, has acquired California-based electrical services contractor RA Electric for an undisclosed price.

RA Electric specializes in various areas of construction such as new building construction, power conditioners, interconnections, utilities, emergency generator installation, surge suppressors as well as U.P.S. systems.

The acquisition will allow SunGrid to offer services to projects ranging from 1MW to 1GW to support California’s ambitious goals of decarbonization as well as energy storage to boost renewable energy sources and reduce carbon emissions and increase electric reliability throughout the state.
