Subsea 7 wins subsea pipeline contract in Gulf of Mexico

Subsea 7 has won a contract for work in the pertaining to the engineering, procurement, construction, and the installation of subsea pipelines, and transport and installation works related to an undisclosed project.

The UK-based offshore contractor said that the contract will be recorded in backlog in Q2 2020.

Without revealing the exact contract value, indicated it to be in the range of $50 million and $150 million.

The offshore contractor said that the offshore installation activities pertaining to the Gulf of Mexico contract are slated for 2020.

Subsea 7 said that currently no additional details can be communicated because of contractual reasons.
