SPL acquires analytical testing company Oxidor Laboratories

SPL, Inc., a Houston-based testing, inspection, and certification provider (TIC provider) for the energy sector and other end markets, has acquired Oxidor Laboratories, for an undisclosed price.

Oxidor Laboratories is an analytical testing company which carries out environmental and chemical analyses. The company caters to the industry and government with wastewater and stormwater testing.

Charles Brungardt — President of Oxidor Laboratories said: “SPL is a perfect partner for Oxidor.  SPL’s position as a leader in TIC services for the energy industry and their extensive footprint will allow us to serve a broader range of customers.  In addition, SPL’s digital platform will allow us to provide our clients with unprecedented access and insight into their environmental data and reporting.”

SPL, which already provides environmental, social, and governance (ESG) services, said that the addition of Oxidor will further grow its environmental capabilities into wastewater and chemical analyses for its consulting, industrial, and governmental clients.
