SoftTech Engineers unit to build digital twin for Floripa Airport in Brazil

Indian digital solutions provider said that its subsidiary SoftTech Digital has been selected by Florianópolis International Airport Concessionaire, Brazil for developing a digital twin to enable energy optimization.

In this regard, the parties have signed a software supply agreement.

In accordance with the contract, SoftTech Digital will develop the digital twin by working together with , a subsidiary of , UK.

SoftTech Engineers is a supplier of technology products and solutions for the civil infrastructure and construction sector. The company helps in the digital transformation of the architecture, engineering, and construction (AEC) industry.

Florianopolis International Airport Concessionaire, which is branded as , is the airport that serves Florianopolis.

SoftTech Engineers said that it will utilize its domain knowledge and its more than 25 years of industry knowledge to build an operationally robust digital twin of the pilot area of the Floripa Airport.

The digital twin is expected to aid in resolving problems with the airport’s building system to maximize energy and cost savings.

Furthermore, the digital twin will allow the balancing of the key factors of energy usage management with the comfort of passengers.
