Silverado North Shore memory care community opens in Glendale, WI

US memory care provider Silverado has opened Silverado North Shore memory care community in Glendale, Wisconsin, which will be home to as many as 85 people with dementia, Alzheimer’s disease, and other memory-related conditions.

The memory care community in Glendale is designed in a way that it maximizes the quality of life for the inmates.

Located at 7800 N. Green Bay Road, on the north end of Milwaukee County, the Silverado North Shore memory care community, which is overseen by Silverado Administrator Erin Gutsmiedl, in the role of an administrator, is accepting new residents.

This new two-story memory care community in Glendale is spread over two acres and features an indoor space designed to address the unique requirements of the memory impaired. The outside space of the Silverado North Shore memory care community has been specifically built to give residents the opportunity to enjoy the outdoors.

Founded in 1996, Silverado has been providing home care, memory care assisted living, and palliative and hospice services across in Arizona, California, Texas, Illinois, Utah, Virginia, Wisconsin, and Washington.

According to Silverado, all its communities have quality clinical care supported by 24/7 licensed nurses, a 1:1 staff to resident ratio, and a designated physician medical director.

The memory care provider recently developed an evidence-based non-drug brain health program called Nexus that has been shown to have improved quality of life, cognition, and function for several persons in the earlier stages of dementia.
