Shocking confession: Hunter Biden admits to lucrative deals with Chinese company

In a startling courtroom revelation, Hunter Biden, son of US President Joe Biden, confessed on Wednesday to receiving a sizable sum of $600,000 from a Chinese Communist Party (CCP)-backed company. This statement starkly contradicts earlier claims by the President that no family member had monetarily benefitted from China.

Hunter Biden made his first appearance in a Delaware federal court, facing charges of intentionally neglecting to pay taxes. An attempt to strike a plea deal fell through, leading to a denial of two misdemeanour charges. Prosecutors, however, claimed in their proposed plea agreement that Hunter had profited from a “Chinese infrastructure investment company,” earning up to $664,000, as cited in an official court transcript.

Hunter conceded to Judge Maryellen Noreika that the sum was earned from a venture he launched in 2017 alongside the chairman of the CCP-backed company, CEFC. He named his partner as Yi Jianming, the chairman of CEFC, and confirmed that the Chinese infrastructure investment company in question was likely CEFC.

However, President Joe Biden has repeatedly denied any familial monetary ties to China. He rejected claims in a 2020 debate against Donald Trump, maintaining that his son had not profited from China. He also dismissed allegations this year, following the revelation of financial documents that showed Biden family members receiving over $1 million from deals in China and Romania by the House Oversight Committee.
