Sharika Enterprises completes cable project at Naitwar Mori Hydro Power Plant
In a significant advancement for India’s power sector, Sharika Enterprises Ltd. (SEL) announced the successful completion of a crucial project involving the Supply, Installation, Termination, Testing, and Commissioning (SITC) of a 220 kV XLPE cable (1Cx400 Sq. mm) at the Naitwar Mori Hydro Power Plant (2×30 MW) in Uttar Kashi, Uttarakhand. This project, inaugurated by Honourable Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi on March 4, 2024, represents a key milestone in the country’s pursuit of sustainable and reliable energy solutions.
The project, conducted for Voith Hydro Pvt Ltd as part of an Electro-Mechanical Package, included the meticulous installation of approximately 2 kilometers of high-voltage cable, along with all necessary accessories and supporting structures. The work, which saw both indoor and outdoor terminations, was completed with unmatched precision by November 26, 2023, adhering strictly to contractual obligations and documentation.
