Sev1Tech secures US Navy contract for logistics IT integration and support

Sev1Tech, a prominent provider of information technology (IT), engineering, program management, C5ISR, and cybersecurity systems integration and support services, has been awarded a substantial $45 million contract by the U.S. Navy’s Program Executive Office for Manpower, Logistics, and Business Solutions (PEO MLB). This contract is dedicated to providing crucial Logistics IT integration and support (LIIS) services.

Over the next five years, Sev1Tech will embark on a mission to integrate Naval Logistics IT (LOG IT) capabilities into a comprehensive System of Systems (SoS) solution, employing agile and DevSecOps methodologies. This transformative initiative will encompass various critical capabilities, such as Naval Maintenance, Repair, and Overhaul (N-MRO), Naval Supply Chain Management (N-SCM), Naval Product Lifecycle Management (N-PLM), Logistics Integrated Data Environment (L-IDE), and Logistics Information Naval Connector (LINC).

Sev1Tech’s esteemed Maritime Division will collaborate closely with PEO MLB to manage its extensive portfolio of more than 200 existing LOG IT systems. This partnership aims to integrate common capabilities, data, and support services, thereby enhancing service performance while simultaneously reducing operational costs. The reduction, elimination, and automation of duplicative services, capabilities, and data sets are essential goals of this collaboration. Leveraging Sev1Tech’s specialized integration platform and employing agile development processes and adaptable DevSecOps architecture, this initiative will foster continuous modernization, integration, and migration of LOG IT systems. The end result is an expedited deployment of logistics capabilities to the fleet.
