Scanpoint Geomatics wins contract from BiharShariff Smart City

Scanpoint Geomatics (SGL) has bagged a contract worth INR 3.15 crore for the implementation of enterprise geographic information system (enterprise GIS) for BiharShariff Smart City.

In a BSE filing, the Gujarat-based GIS mapping software provider stated: “With reference to the subject cited above, we are pleased to inform you that Scanpoint Geomatics Limited (SGL) has been awarded the contract of Implementation of Enterprise GIS for BiharShariff Smart City Limited.”

Bihar Sharif, which is the headquarters of Nalanda district in Bihar, is among the 100 cities in India to have been selected to get funds under the Smart Cities Mission of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

Scanpoint Geomatics has developed the IGiS technology which is said to bring together GIS, photogrammetry, image processing, and CAD on the same platform.
