Saco Foods to launch new California Sun Dry sun-dried tomatoes

Saco Foods is set to launch a refreshing brand identity for California Sun Dry in the US to bring the core values of natural flavor, healthy eating and California roots, where tomatoes are naturally grown and dried.

Founded in 1991, this is the company’s first evolution of its own branding. The new design, label, and logo will be revealed at the Produce Marketing Association’s (PMA) Fresh Summit 2019 on October 18-19.

Charles Olins, vice president of sales and marketing of Saco Foods said: “The new branding strongly resonates with the values of California Sun Dry”.

“Our intention was to tell the story of our fresh, quality tomatoes and natural California origins.”

Olins will be on-hand at the PMA Fresh Summit to meet attendees and provide information on the company’s extensive product line.

California Sun Dry aims to provide foods that support present day’s eating trends. Its portfolio consists of sun-dried tomatoes, sauces, and spreads.

The new identity and packaging is made to attract customers in the produce aisle and to show its natural production and California origin.

The new packaging of the products will be available to the customers in 2020 nationwide. California Sun Dry Foods are available in supermarkets, mass retailers and club stores in the US and Canada.
