Indian transport infrastructure consultancy and engineering firm, RITES Ltd, has signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Power Finance Corporation (PFC) to collaborate on consultancy projects in sectors including transport and logistics, water and sanitation, energy, communication, social and commercial infrastructure.
Under the MoU, RITES will offer its expertise in pre-feasibility reports, detailed project reports, transaction advisory, project management services, audits, and inspection, while Power Finance Corporation and its subsidiaries will provide financial assistance for infrastructure projects in India and abroad.
This partnership aims to establish a working relationship between the two entities, enabling them to explore opportunities with government bodies, semi-government agencies, autonomous entities, private organizations, and multilateral funding agencies such as the World Bank, Asian Development Bank, and JICA.
Manobendra Ghoshal — RITES Chief Strategy Officer said: “The partnership with PFC will not only provide a platform to explore business opportunities in the consultancy domain but also facilitate knowledge sharing in developing Infra4Future.”
