RITES Ltd joins hands with NHPC Limited for rail infra services in Arunachal’s hydropower projects

In a pivotal move set to revolutionize India’s infrastructure and energy domain, RITES Ltd, the nation’s foremost transport infrastructure consultancy, has inked a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with NHPC Limited, a key player under the Ministry of Power. This collaboration aims to provide top-notch consultancy services tailored for Rail Infrastructure essential for NHPC’s ambitious hydropower projects.

Central to this partnership is the new rail connectivity, logistics, and accompanying infrastructure, such as the state-of-the-art Rapid Loading Systems (RLS/SILO) and conveyor systems slated for implementation at Pasighat. These innovations will cater to the immense 2880-MW Dibang Multipurpose Project (MPP) in the scenic landscape of Arunachal Pradesh.
