Rattanindia Enterprises said that its subsidiary Revolt Motors will open a new electric motorcycle store in Rajkot, Gujarat.
According to Rattanindia Enterprises, this is the third store for Revolt Motors in Gujarat and the 26th in India.
Rattanindia Enterprises stated that the Gujarat government has given an exemption to e-vehicles registered in Gujarat road transport offices (RTOs) from paying the registration fee and extended support for charging infrastructure which will expedite the development of the ecosystem and ensure increased comfort for electric vehicle (EV) buyers.
On the new electric motorcycle store in Rajkot, Rattanindia Enterprises stated: “The State government’s new electric vehicles policy has fuelled optimism among EV makers and sellers in Gujarat. Under this new policy, the govt. provides a subsidy of up to INR 20,000/- on two-wheeler category which not only makes the product more affordable but also helps in increasing the adoption of electric vehicles in the state.”
Revolt Motors plans to consolidate its footprint across India with a target to open over 40 stores in 2022.
The new stores of the Indian electric motorcycle manufacturer will be set up by retail partners across major cities in the country. They will be focused on innovations that are India-centric, flexible, and cost-effective to fuel the growth of electric mobility, thereby playing a role in making India self-reliant, said Rattanindia Enterprises.
