Quantix SCS acquires bulk transportation services firm Delaware Express

Quantix SCS, a Texas-based supply chain services company, has acquired Delaware Express Co., a provider of dry and liquid bulk transportation services, for an undisclosed price.

Delaware Express is a regional trucking company based in Elkton, Maryland.

Established in 1935, the family-owned has four additional satellite terminals located across Delaware, New York, New Jersey, and Massachusetts.

According to Quantix SCS, Delaware Express marks another key acquisition that strengthens its fleet of specialized assets and consolidates its presence in the Mid-Atlantic region.

Quantix SCS is a portfolio company of Wind Point Partners, a private equity investment firm based in Chicago. It caters to chemical providers with end-to-end support via a pan-US network and a suite of services such as transportation, distribution centers, 3PL solutions, export/import, as well as eco-recovery.
