Quantexa raises $65m for contextual decision intelligence platform

Quantexa, a UK-based contextual decision intelligence software company that helps organizations to drive improved decisions from their data, has secured $64.7 million in a Series C funding round led by Evolution Equity Partners.

The funding round also saw the participation from existing investors Dawn Capital, HSBC, and AlbionVC.

Also taking part in the Series C funding round of the contextual decision intelligence software company are new investors British Patient Capital and ABN AMRO Ventures, who joined previous investor Accenture Ventures.

Quantexa has offices across London, New York, Boston, Toronto, Singapore, Belgium, Melbourne, and Sydney.

The company’s platform is said to use the latest advancements in big data and artificial intelligence to uncover latent risk and new opportunities by offering a contextual view of both internal and external data in a single place. It is claimed to address major challenges across financial crime, credit risk, fraud, customer intelligence, and throughout the lifecycle of customers.

This investment will accelerate our product innovation roadmap and enable us to invest further into Europe, North America and Asia Pacific regions, as well as expand into new locations.”

Quantexa, which claims to serve thousands of users in 70 plus countries, plans to grow further into North America, Asia-Pacific, and European regions. The company will deploy its contextual decision intelligence (CDI) technology into the public sector and other additional sectors, while developing more platform applications in financial services and larger cross-sector capabilities.

The new funding round follows a $22.7 million Series B round in August 2018. The contextual decision intelligence software company has so far raised a total of $90 million.
