Furthermore, the expansion increases the number of passenger boarding gates and bridges, enhancing the airport’s operational efficiency.

The design of T3 encapsulates the rich cultural heritage of Uttar Pradesh, from the entry gates to the skylight, offering passengers an immersive audio-visual experience. The terminal’s aesthetics are adorned with motifs of traditional ‘Chikankari’ and ‘Mukaish’ embroidery, while graphics depicting stories from the Ramayana and Mahabharata add to its charm.
