Piccadily Agro Industries Limited (PAIL) has achieved a significant milestone by obtaining approval to supply its premium spirits to canteens serving Central Armed Police Forces (CAPF) across India. This development allows PAIL’s marquee brands—including the rapidly growing single malt whisky Indri, India’s pioneering premium cane juice rum Camikara, and the renowned blended malt whisky Whistler—to be made available in 98 depots managed by CAPF units such as the CRPF, BSF, SSB, and ITBP.
This approval, granted shortly after the company secured a similar endorsement from the Canteen Stores Department (CSD) in March 2024, represents a strategic expansion for PAIL. The move follows the global acclaim received by Indri and the other two brands in markets like the United States, the United Kingdom, and Dubai. By entering the paramilitary sector, PAIL not only enhances its market reach but also reinforces its presence in a key segment of the Indian market.
The entry into the CAPF canteens is expected to significantly boost PAIL’s sales volume and provide high-quality products to the country’s dedicated paramilitary forces. This development aligns with PAIL’s long-term strategy to scale its operations and deliver exceptional value to both its customers and shareholders.
Piccadily Agro Industries Limited, incorporated in 1994, stands as one of India’s premier independent producers and distributors of malt spirits. Its portfolio includes the award-winning Indri single malt whisky and a variety of Indian Made Foreign Liquor (IMFL) brands. Additionally, the company is a notable manufacturer of ethanol, extra neutral alcohol (ENA), CO2, and white crystal sugar.
