Patel Engineering and JV partner secure Rs 174.5cr Nira Deoghar Canal Project
Patel Engineering Limited, a premier civil construction company specializing in the hydropower and irrigation sector, today announced a major milestone. In partnership with its joint venture (JV) partner, the company has been awarded the construction of the Pipe Distribution Network for Nira Deoghar Right Bank Main Canal, encompassing Km 66 to Km 76 and Km 77 to Km 87, by Maharashtra Krishna Valley Development Corporation, Pune. This contract, previously declared as the lowest bidder (L1), represents a significant stride in the company’s project portfolio.
The JV, with Patel Engineering holding a 40% stake, secures a share of Rs. 174.57 crore in this project. The project’s total value aggregates to Rs. 436.42 crore and is set to be completed within 30 months. Located in Maharashtra‘s Satara district, this item rate contract involves extensive irrigation work, highlighting the company’s expertise in managing large-scale infrastructure projects.
The Nira Deoghar Right Bank Main Canal project includes constructing a Pipe Distribution Network between Km 66 to Km 76 and Km 77 to Km 87.
