Oracle and Palantir forge a power duo for AI prowess on the cloud!
Oracle has officially announced that Palantir’s Foundry Platform and Artificial Intelligence Platform (AIP) are now certified and available on Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI). This marks a significant step in enhancing AI capabilities across various cloud environments, catering to the diverse needs of businesses and government entities globally.
Josh Harris, an executive at Palantir, emphasized the collaborative effort, stating, “Together with Oracle, we’re helping our global customers take advantage of the latest innovations in cloud computing and AI while meeting their regulatory, performance, and security needs.” This partnership is designed to leverage Oracle’s robust cloud offerings and Palantir’s advanced AI and decision acceleration platforms to propel AI initiatives forward.
Rand Waldron, Vice President at Oracle, highlighted the synergy between Oracle’s flexible cloud infrastructure and Palantir’s platforms, noting that it “helps customers rapidly scale AI capabilities across its operations.” The integration of these technologies aims to maximize data value while adhering to sovereignty and security standards.
The certification of Palantir’s platforms on OCI includes support across all of OCI’s distributed cloud offerings. This extensive support encompasses public cloud regions, OCI Dedicated Regions, Oracle Alloy, Oracle EU Sovereign Cloud, Oracle Government Cloud, Oracle Roving Edge, and Oracle’s air-gapped regions specifically for defense and intelligence customers.
Deploying Palantir Foundry and AIP on OCI allows users to benefit from OCI’s flexible compute infrastructure, known for its efficiency, performance, and security. This capability is critical for organizations that require stringent regulatory compliance and high-security standards.
Oracle stands out as the only hyperscaler capable of delivering AI and a comprehensive suite of over 100 cloud services across dedicated, public, and hybrid cloud environments worldwide. With OCI’s sovereign cloud offerings, customers can meet specific regulatory, security, and performance requirements while still enjoying the full advantages of cloud and AI technologies.
This development not only strengthens Oracle’s position in the cloud services market but also enhances Palantir’s reach across varied industries and sectors, fostering a more integrated approach to data handling and artificial intelligence.
