Michael Slusky, EVP, Director of Leasing for Pine Tree, the management company of Village Walk, highlighted the positive impact, remarking, “We could not be more excited to welcome Nordownlstrom Rack to Village Walk’s strong lineup of retailers.” This store is expected to bolster the shopping center’s appeal, making it an essential retail destination in Tarzana.
Beyond economic expansion, Nordstrom is deeply committed to community involvement. Over the past four years, the company has donated more than $2 million to Big Brothers Big Sisters of the United States as part of a long-term partnership. These funds support mentorship initiatives, helping to nurture relationships between adults and youths, providing guidance and support in personal and professional development.
The new Nordstrom Rack store in Tarzana represents a strategic move by Nordstrom to strengthen its footprint in California, where it already operates 26 Nordstrom stores and 65 Nordstrom Rack locations, employing around 14,000 individuals statewide.
