Sbarro pizza outlets opening : New York style pizza chain Sbarro has partnered with Khan Bahadur Foods, its franchise partner to inaugurate eight new pizza restaurants in Dhaka, Bangladesh.

All the Sbarro pizza outlets were inaugurated simultaneously in Bangladesh capital city as per the latest restaurant industry news.

Sbarro became the first New York style pizza chain to open in Bangladesh. In the last two years, Sbarro had opened a number of outlets along with with Khan Bahadur Foods.

Commenting on the opening of the new Sbarro pizza outlets in Dhaka, Khan Bahadur Group Managing Director Mayeen Chowdhury said: “We focused on communicating that Sbarro was an iconic American brand and that a taste of Sbarro’s delicious pizza was a taste of America. This strategy proved to be so successful that we could invest in 8 stores making it a powerhouse international franchise brand in Bangladesh.

“With bigger global brands here, the move of opening 8 stores at a time was strategic because it shows strength and puts us at par with the more famous brands. We have all the intentions of continuing to open more Sbarro locations in Bangladesh.”

The American pizza chain claims that it had tasted quite a lot of success by focusing on superior, consistent quality and outstanding customer service.

Sbarro CEO David Karam on the new Sbarro pizza restaurants in Dhaka commented: “We are very appreciative of the work that Mayeen and all the individuals within the Khan Bahadur Group put forth to open eight restaurants in such a short period of time. That is no easy feat, yet this team’s commitment to their people and to making sure all of the details were in order was nothing short of tremendous.

The New York style pizza chain Sbarro, which is headquartered in Columbus, Ohio, has over 600 pizza restaurants in 26 countries.
