Netweb Technologies partners with NVIDIA to manufacture AI systems in India

Netweb Technologies India Limited, a leader in high-end computing, today revealed its partnership with NVIDIA as a manufacturing partner for the NVIDIA Grace CPU Superchip and GH200 Grace Hopper Superchip MGX server designs. This collaboration will see Netweb producing over ten server variations under its Tyrone range of AI systems, catering to various AI and high-performance computing/supercomputing applications.

Enhancing AI and HPC Capabilities with NVIDIA MGX

Netweb’s AI systems will leverage NVIDIA MGX, a modular reference design, to address complex workloads across high-performance computing (HPC), data science, large language models, edge computing, enterprise AI, and design and simulation. The product range is designed to handle a wide array of workloads, including AI training, inference, and 5G, on a single system, while allowing for seamless hardware upgrades.

Netweb’s Commitment to Make-in-India Initiative

Sanjay Lodha, Chairman and Managing Director of Netweb, emphasized the company’s role in driving high-end technology products for the Make-in-India initiative. He acknowledged NVIDIA’s leadership in AI solutions and expressed optimism about India’s growing AI capabilities and its role in generative AI and other technological advancements.

Vishal Dhupar, Managing Director for South Asia at NVIDIA, highlighted the challenges enterprises face in building the right AI infrastructure. He noted that Netweb’s Tyrone AI systems based on NVIDIA MGX would offer flexibility for a variety of applications, addressing these challenges effectively.

Boosting India’s AI and Accelerated Computing Capabilities

The collaboration aims to enhance the AI potential in India and the APAC region. Local manufacturing of these systems will support India’s ‘Make in India’ mission and build a local ecosystem for AI and accelerated computing applications in both government and private sectors.
