New Millet Products High in Fiber, Low in Calories

Adding to its differentiated food portfolio, Nestlé India has introduced Nestlé a+ Masala Millet. Developed under the guidance of the Indian Institute of Millets Research (IIMR), the product is available in two flavors: Tangy Tomato and Veggie Masala. Consumers can opt for a multi-serve pack priced at Rs. 175 for 240 gm or a single-serve pack at Rs. 30 for 40 gm. These high-fiber, low-calorie options are free from added preservatives and offer a healthy alternative for any meal of the day.

Nestlé Partners with Nutrihub-IIMR to Advance Millet Research

Continuing its commitment to millet promotion, Nestlé R&D Centre India Private Limited, a subsidiary of Nestlé S.A., has signed an MOU with Nutrihub-IIMR. The collaboration aims to enhance millet processing, ascertain health and nutritional benefits, and advance sustainable regenerative agriculture practices. With India contributing 20% to global millet production, the partnership is expected to further boost millet cultivation and usage.
