Central Co-op opens new store in Tacoma, Washington

US natural foods cooperative Central Co-op has opened its new store in the West End Neighborhood at North Pearl and 46th Street in Tacoma in Washington.

Local producers to sell in the Central Co-op Tacoma store are Wild Hare Organic Farm, Rainbow Cloud Kombucha, Mountain Muesli, Ice Cream Social, Peace Love and Raw, and others.

The new Central Co-op store in Tacoma will have fresh foods in a large produce department, stocking organic produce and products from area farms.

The deli department will store items made in-house such as taqueria, a hot bar, and grab-and-go meals. The store will also have a fresh meat and seafood department.

The Central Co-op Tacoma store has a complete bulk department that provides a broad range of products like grains, fresh-ground nut butters, spices, coffee, and oils and honey.

Apart from these offerings and a routine selection of grocery items, members and customers can also spend time at the health and wellness section, deli seating, and a wrap-around porch.

“This celebration feels like the culmination of all the input from our community and hard work from our Tacoma store team.
