MPAY acquires Southland Data Processing to boost payroll services

MPAY, a leading provider of payroll and human capital management solutions, has announced the acquisition of Southland Data Processing (SDP), effective July 1, 2024. This significant move is set to bolster MPAY’s position in the payroll services industry and expand its service offerings nationwide through its Payroll Service Bureau, Payentry.

Southland Data Processing, established in 1986, has built a solid reputation for delivering tailored payroll solutions across various business sectors. Known for its client-focused approach and technological innovation, SDP has successfully expanded its customer base and service capabilities over the years. MPAY’s Millennium software suite, integral to SDP’s operations since 1997, will continue to be utilised as SDP integrates into the MPAY family. The merger will ensure consistency in platform use while providing clients with enhanced services and an expanded support team.

Renita (Bess) Wojtuszewski, who joined SDP in 1992 and became President and CEO in 2008, has driven the company’s growth and market expansion.
