Mill Creek Residential breaks ground on Modera Washington in Houston

Mill Creek Residential, a Florida-based real estate developer, has started construction on the Modera Washington, a mixed-use apartment community to come along Washington Avenue in Houston, Texas.

Modera Washington will be an eight-story midrise that will have 341 contemporary apartment homes and a full suite of community amenities.

According to Mill Creek Residential, the suite of amenities to be offered at the mixed-use apartment community will be private office space, which will serve the ever-increasing remote worker.

The real estate developer expects the first move-ins for late 2021.

Tommy Le – vice president of development for Mill Creek Residential said: “We continue to be extremely fond of the Houston market, and the prime location between Studemont Street and Sawyer Street will place residents within close proximity of everything they might need.

To be built at 2520 Washington Avenue, Modera Washington will come up immediately near the Old Sixth Ward Historic District and about a mile north of the Buffalo Bayou Park.

The mixed-use apartment community will have studio, one- and two-bedroom homes on offer with den layouts available. Community amenities being offered at Modera Washington will be a rooftop deck, barbecue and picnic areas, a glass-edged and elevated swimming pool, pet spa, game room, and a fitness center that will have group fitness areas.
