Miami’s Westchester General Hospital acquired by Keralty

Global health enterprise Keralty has acquired Westchester General Hospital located in Miami, Florida for an undisclosed price.

Since 1967, Westchester General Hospital has been catering to the greater South Florida Community.

The acquisition is said to complement the 59 US Sanitas Medical Centers that Keralty has designed as part of its strategy to build a healthcare model and efficient ecosystem for facilitating a better end-to-end patient experience journey.

It includes the 78,000 square foot hospital along with 248,000 square feet of parking and also additional undeveloped land.

Keralty will also retain the 570 employees working at Westchester General Hospital, whose new chairman will be Juan Carlos Echandia.

Keralty forayed into the US market in 2015 by acquiring three Sanitas Medical Centers in Miami, which feature advanced primary care, specialty care, urgent care, laboratory, and diagnostic imaging.
