Metrie expands operations with new retail distribution center in Louisville

Metrie, a manufacturer and distributor of millwork solutions in North America, has announced the establishment of a new retail distribution center in Louisville, Kentucky.

Expected to be fully operational by the end of the year, this new facility will enhance the company’s growth prospects with its major retail customer, Lowe’s, through improved customer service, quicker market access, and increased operational and logistical efficiencies.

Kent Bowie, President & CEO of Metrie, highlighted the company’s ongoing growth initiatives, including the expansion of facilities and recent acquisitions. “Growth continues to be on the forefront at Metrie as we continue to expand through new and improved facilities and recent acquisitions. The addition of the Louisville facility is another step in the pursuit of Metrie’s growth strategy – to be North America’s most trusted integrated millwork provider,” Bowie commented.
