Indian car manufacturer Maruti Suzuki India Limited (MSIL) has expanded its subscription services to four more cities, which include Jaipur, Indore, Mysore, and Mangalore.
Introduced in July 2020, Maruti Suzuki Subscribe is a plan using which a person can enjoy owning a car without purchasing the vehicle. It enables the customer to select from a variety of vehicles from Maruti Suzuki India for multiple tenure options. The customer will have to pay an all-inclusive fixed monthly charge to avail of the service.
The monthly payment includes charges for vehicle usage, registration charges, maintenance, insurance, and other common services associated with the usage of the vehicle.
After the tenure is completed, the customer has the choice to switch over to a new car or use the option of buying the subscribed car.
The Maruti Suzuki Subscribe platform will provide customized products to its customers via three subscription partners – Orix Auto Infrastructure Services, ALD Automotive India, and Myles Automotive Technologies.
The subscription services also offer an added option to customers of selecting between white or black registration plates, thereby giving more flexibility to the car ownership experience.
Customers can now choose Maruti Suzuki Subscribe services in 19 Indian cities.
Shashank Srivastava – Senior Executive Director (Marketing and Sales) of Maruti Suzuki India said: “Car subscription is a new and upcoming concept for the Indian market. We are regularly upgrading our Subscribe programme with learnings and feedback from customers.
“The marketplace model will offer more power to customers to select from a bouquet of options, as per their requirements. This will lead to competitive price offerings coupled with transparency of the process.
“With an addition of four new cities in our network, we look forward to serving more customers.”
