The initiative is part of Mamaearth’s larger “Plant Goodness” project, which aims to plant 1 million trees by 2025. To date, the campaign has successfully planted 600,000 trees across Rajasthan, Uttar Pradesh, and Haryana in collaboration with local NGOs and farmers. These trees are primarily fruit-bearing, which helps local farmers generate additional income, while simultaneously contributing to carbon sequestration and oxygen production. This agroforestry approach integrates tree planting with traditional farming, creating a sustainable model of agriculture that supports the company’s goal of achieving ‘Net Zero Carbon’.
