Lummus Technology wins ethylene cracking heaters contract for Amiral complex

Ltd. This agreement entails Lummus Technology supplying eight proprietary Short Residence Time (SRT) ethylene cracking heaters to be installed at the Amiral petrochemical complex in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, operated by Saudi Aramco Total Refining and Petrochemical Company (SATORP). SATORP’s Amiral complex is known for its integrated refinery and petrochemical operations, having licensed numerous Lummus technologies, including those for ethylene production, refinery off-gas recovery and treating, pygas hydrotreating, and various extraction technologies for methyl tertiary butyl ether, isobutylene, butene, and butadiene. This array of technologies underlines the complex’s cutting-edge approach to petrochemical processing and production.
