Lufthansa pampers Indian flyers with customized in-flight culinary experiences
German aviation company Lufthansa has announced new food offerings for its Indian passengers, in an effort to improve its in-flight dining options.
This initiative is in line with Lufthansa’s goals in India, showcasing the airline’s dedication to providing an exceptional culinary journey for its flyers.
Lufthansa’s new in-flight meal options will span across its four classes of travel: Economy, Premium Economy, Business, and First Class. Passengers in Economy Class can look forward to hot breakfast and meal services that include two main course options, either Western or Indian vegetarian style. Snacks, beverages like masala tea and coffee, and special meal options will also be offered.
Lufthansa stated: “Since its inception, Lufthansa has placed great emphasis on using fresh, locally sourced produce and authentic flavours to ensure that every dish served onboard is a masterpiece of taste and quality.
“By prioritizing freshness and employing stringent quality control measures, Lufthansa offers its guests a dining experience that is both memorable and delectable for passengers around the world.”
In the Premium Economy Class, flyers can expect a hot breakfast, meal, and dinner, with both Indian and Western-style main course options. A selection of cold breakfast and dinner items will also be available.
Business Class passengers will enjoy the special addition of an Express Menu, hot meals with unique bread options, new salad options, and three main course choices: Western style with 50% meat, Western style with 30% fish, and Indian style with 40% vegetarian. A range of desserts, cheeses, and regional beverages like lassi, masala tea, and fresh lemonade will also be provided.
For First Class flyers, Lufthansa is set to offer two Western and two Indian main courses, along with cold appetizers, premium welcome drinks with nuts, a variety of bread options, and much more. This service will also include a cold plate and snack selection, and a dine-on-demand service.
