Linde India JV Bellary Oxygen sells air separation unit to JSW Steel

Linde India Limited said that its joint venture (JV) company — Bellary Oxygen Company has accepted the offer of JSW Steel for the purchase of its 855 tonnes per day air separation unit and other associated assets in Karnataka.

Considering the expiry of the gas supply contract with JSW Steel on 14 November 2021, Bellary Oxygen Company has executed the asset sale deal with the former.

The consideration amount received by Bellary Oxygen Company is INR 50 crores.

Linde India said that the joint venture firm has since handed over the ownership of the air separation unit and other related assets to JSW Steel.
