Life Time to open new luxury athletic club in Austin’s Bouldin Development

Life Time (NYSE: LTH) has unveiled plans to introduce a new athletic country club in Austin, Texas, as part of the ambitious four-acre mixed-use development known as The Bouldin. The new Life Time facility is slated to open in mid- to late-2025, promising a luxurious addition to the vibrant South Lamar neighborhood.

Occupying the first two floors of a four-story building, the new 57,700-square-foot Life Time club will feature an array of high-end amenities designed to cater to a diverse range of wellness and fitness needs. The facility will include recovery and rejuvenation spaces, a full bar and social lounge, top-tier small and large group training programs, and a coworking space. Additionally, a co-ed bath house with hot tubs, cold plunges, sauna, and steam rooms will provide members with a comprehensive wellness experience.

The Life Time club will be designed to offer a spacious and inviting environment. The first floor will house a large training and cardio area with extensive strength training and cardio equipment, alongside small group training programs. On the second floor, members will find LifeCafe restaurant with outdoor seating, the Kids Academy for younger members, studios for group classes, and an elevated bath house space that provides panoramic views of West Bouldin Creek and Downtown Austin. Floor-to-ceiling windows will ensure ample natural light throughout the facility.

Construction of the new Life Time Austin South Lamar facility is scheduled to commence later this year. Life Time’s first Austin location, Life Time Austin North, opened in 2005. Since then, the company has expanded its presence with additional clubs in South Austin, downtown Austin, and the Austin Arboretum. Currently, Life Time operates more than 30 athletic country clubs across Texas, including major markets such as Austin, Houston, Dallas-Fort Worth, and San Antonio.
