Lang Lebah gas project : Technip Energies gets FEED order for Malaysian gas plant

Lang Lebah gas project : French engineering company has been awarded a front-end engineering design (FEED) contract from for the Lang Lebah Onshore Gas Plant 2 in Malaysia.

Located in , Sarawak, in Malaysia, the Lang Lebah gas project is one of the important projects of the Sarawak Integrated Sour Gas Evacuation System (SISGES) Development.

Under the FEED contract, Energies will be responsible for the design of an onshore gas plant, including the integrated flow assurance of the native CO2 capture, compression and transportation through pipeline up to the offshore wellhead platform.

Prior to its delivery to the Malaysia LNG complex, the gas produced from the Lang Lebah offshore field will undergo treatment.

The Sarawak Integrated Sour Gas Evacuation System is anticipated to serve as a catalyst to further develop untapped sour gas resources off the coast of Sarawak.

In August this year, Technip Energies, in a consortium with Clough, secured the FEED contract for upstream production facilities of TotalEnergies’ Papua LNG project in Papua New Guinea.
