Kyowa Chemical improves global business visibility using Infor M3 Cloud

Kyowa Chemical Industry, a Japanese chemical products manufacturer and seller for industry and healthcare, has deployed Infor M3 Cloud, an ERP software developed by Infor, to improve business data visibility and business efficiency as part of its overseas expansion.

Infor M3 Cloud integrates all international sales, purchasing and inventory management functionalities with a single system to enable centralized data management, which will speed up information sharing and business decision-making with the global offices of Kyowa Chemical Industry.

Launched across its domestic sales offices in April 2019, the new ERP platform is introduced in the global sales offices of the Japanese chemical products manufacturer to standardize skills-dependent business processes and achieve a stable supply of products.

To realize optimal coordination of supply and demand on a global scale, Kyowa Chemical Industry is planning to use Infor M3 as the core factor of the system.

Mitsunori Kado – director and head of human resources at Kyowa Chemical Industry, commenting on the company’s deployment of the Infor M3 Cloud ERP solution, said: “We adopted Infor’s ERP cloud solution to enable connection with branches overseas, which are growing in importance, and to drive business efficiencies.

“Going forward, we hope to draw from the extensive process manufacturing knowledge of Infor to continue enhancing our business platforms and expand our range of high-safety, eco-friendly products globally.”

The Japanese chemical products manufacturer is said to considering installing Infor’s production management package in the future.

Founded in 1947, Kyowa Chemical Industry manufactures and sells both people-friendly and eco-friendly industrial products such as non-halogen resin stabilizers and flame retardants, and pharmaceutical and food additive products, such as antacids, and functional additives, using the magnesium in seawater as the main raw material.

With 17,300 employees and more than 68,000 customers spanning over 170 countries, Infor software is designed for progress and its customers include aerospace and high tech companies, healthcare delivery networks, automotive suppliers, industrial distributors, and global retailers, banks, brewers, and hotel brands.
