KIMS Hospitals, a major healthcare provider, has announced the expansion of its services in Bengaluru, Karnataka, with a new 350-bed super specialty hospital. This state-of-the-art facility will be situated on the campus of Peoples Education Society (PES), a respected university known for its comprehensive educational offerings across the country. The hospital, which is currently under construction, will encompass a ground floor plus 11 upper floors, totaling 350,000 square feet of built-up area, including specialized spaces such as a utility area and a bunker for radiation oncology.

KIMS Hospital Bengaluru Pvt. Ltd., a wholly-owned subsidiary of Krishna Institute of Medical Sciences Limited (KIMS), has secured a 25-year lease for the land and building from PES. Moreover, KIMS has entered into an exclusive management agreement with PES to oversee the proposed hospital unit’s operations, ensuring that it adheres to the highest standards of healthcare delivery.
Financial Operations and Benefits:
Under the management agreement, KIMS will handle all aspects of the hospital’s operations, including billing and revenue collection, incurring operational expenses, and retaining all net profits generated annually. This arrangement underscores KIMS’s commitment to not only managing the healthcare facility but also ensuring its financial and operational success.
