Kerry Group suspends talks with Kerry Co-Operative regarding dairy business

Kerry Group has confirmed that talks with Kerry Co-Operative Creameries pertaining to a potential transaction for its dairy-related businesses in Ireland and the UK have been suspended.

The company in February 2021 had announced that it is carrying out a strategic review of the businesses, which has activities across taste and nutrition and consumer foods businesses.

Kerry Group said that the strategic review continues and that there is no assurance that this will lead to a deal. The company plans to provide a further update on the strategic review process later this year.
