Jupiter Wagons lands Rs 1,617cr contract for BOXNS Wagons from Indian Railways

The contract entails the production of 4000 BOXNS wagons, classified as BG Bogie Open Wagon type. These wagons are designed with a 25-ton axle load capacity, ensuring robust performance under varying freight conditions. Additionally, they maintain a maximum speed of 86 kmph when empty and 45 kmph when loaded, emphasizing efficiency and safety during transit.
