John McDonald’s Bash Burger debuts in Urbanspace Vanderbilt food hall

John McDonald, the founder of Mercer Street Hospitality, has opened Bash Burger, a new fast-casual dining concept located within the bustling Urbanspace Vanderbilt food hall, close to Grand Central Terminal in New York City.

A Menu Centered Around Signature Burgers

At the heart of the Bash Burger menu are two signature burgers: the BB Classic and the renowned Bash Burger. The latter, particularly famous for being a six-time champion at the New York City Wine & Food Festival’s annual “Burger Bash,” is celebrated for its simple yet perfectly executed recipe. It features bacon onion jam, American cheese, shaved pickles, and a secret sauce. The BB Classic offers a traditional take with lettuce, tomato, and cheese.
