Jio subsidiary Radisys acquires Mimosa Networks to bolster open telecom solutions

Radisys Corporation, a prominent player in open telecom solutions and subsidiary of Jio Platforms Limited, announced its successful acquisition of Mimosa Networks, Inc. from Airspan Networks Holdings Inc. (NYSE American: MIMO).

With the acquisition, Radisys fortifies its market positioning. Mimosa brings to the table a comprehensive array of point-to-point and point-to-multi-point connectivity solutions that utilize unlicensed spectrum bands. This acquisition underscores a significant stride towards the expeditious deployment of multi-gigabit-per-second Fixed Wireless Access networks and advanced wireless backhaul connectivity in telecom systems.

The integration of Mimosa’s product suite perfectly aligns with Radisys Open Access offerings, including Connect Open RAN and Connect Open Broadband, enhancing the holistic service portfolio.

Following the acquisition, Mimosa now operates as a wholly-owned subsidiary of Radisys.
