Jindal Stainless breaks ground on stainless steel industrial park in Jajpur

Jindal Stainless has laid the foundation stone for a 271-acre stainless steel industrial park in Jajpur through a virtual ceremony held in Bhubaneswar that was attended by Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik.

The first-of-its-kind facility is expected to increase the production and demand of the metal in east India, and support the objective of the Odisha government to propel the iron and steel industry to greater heights in the state.

Jindal Stainless said that the stainless steel industrial park is a natural extension of its Jajpur manufacturing facility. The stainless steel park will be built in a couple of phases over a period of six years and could potentially see an investment of over INR 1,500 crores.
