Jay Bharat Maruti Limited (JBML), a leading auto component manufacturer and Tier 1 supplier to Maruti Suzuki India Ltd., has initiated a new chapter with the foundation stone laying of its new plant in Kharkhoda, Sonipat, Haryana. This significant event was marked by the presence of Hisashi Takeuchi, Managing Director & CEO of Maruti Suzuki India Ltd., alongside S.K. Arya, Chairman & MD of JBM Group, and Nishant Arya, Vice Chairman of JBM Group.
Expanding Capacity to Meet Growing Demand
Located in the Maruti Suzuki India Ltd. Supplier’s Park, IMT Kharkhoda, the new facility spans over 6.7 acres. It aims to enhance capacity in line with the requirements of Maruti Suzuki’s upcoming manufacturing plant at the same location, which is slated to commence operations by FY2025. The plant’s phased development aligns with Maruti Suzuki’s forecast of producing one million vehicles at Kharkhoda.
A Partnership Strengthened Over Decades
S.K. Arya, Chairman of JBML, expressed his enthusiasm about deepening the four-decade-long partnership with Maruti Suzuki. He remarked on Maruti Suzuki’s milestone of producing two million vehicles and its ambitious goal to double this volume by 2031. Arya assured that JBML would be a steadfast partner in this journey of growth.
