Island Oasis expands and improves beverage mixes range

Kerry Group, a US-based taste and nutrition company taste and nutrition company has expanded the Island Oasis beverage mixes with the launch of three new flavors – lemonade, wildberry, and peach.

Furthermore, Kerry Group will be rolling out reformulated, clean-label margarita, pina colada, and strawberry beverage mixes. The new and enhanced products can either be mixed with alcoholic or non-alcoholic cocktails, mocktails, lemonades, smoothies, and also margaritas, claimed Island Oasis.

The company claims that its latest products have an ambient shelf life without any artificial flavors or preservatives while adding color from natural sources. Some of the improvements done to the Island Oasis beverage mix portfolio include the removal of preservatives and synthetic colors, and also lesser sugar content.

The margarita beverage mix is said to have been reformulated with real juice extracted from limes, oranges, and lemons, cane sugar, and a hint of salt. Sugar content has been reduced by 20% while agave has been added.

For the pina colada flavor, the sugar content has been cut by 13% while the taste has been improved by adding creamy coconut and sweet hints of real pineapple juice.

On the other hand, the strawberry beverage mix has seen a 17% reduction in sugar.
