Isgec wins order for multi-feed distillery from Dwarikesh Sugar Industries
Isgec Heavy Engineering has bagged an order from Dwarikesh Sugar Industries for a 175 KLPD multi-feed distillery for the latter’s site at Bareilly in Uttar Pradesh.
The multi-feed distillery’s capacity is based on sugar cane syrup, B-heavy molasses, and final molasses for producing absolute alcohol (Ethanol), which will be blended with petrol (EBP).
According to Isgec Heavy Engineering, the project in Bareilly also includes a 40 TPH slop fired incineration boiler and a 5MW power plant which will have an extraction/condensing type turbine. The company will also be responsible for balance of plant on turnkey basis.
Isgec Heavy Engineering said that the complete turnkey project will involve technologies such as fed-batch fermentation, multiple effect evaporation for raw spent wash, multi pressure distillation for rectified spirit, dehydration based on molecular sieve dehydration (MSDH), and slop fired incineration boiler with support fuels such as bagasse, rice husk, and coal with extraction and condensing-type turbine.
The distillery in Bareilly is said to be designed on the complete zero liquid discharge (ZLD) concept.
Isgec Heavy Engineering said that it is a repeat order from Dwarikesh Sugar Industries following the execution of a 109 KLPD distillery project for the latter’s Bundki unit.
